Paint Camp!

Sometimes I have to pinch myself to make sure this is real life.

This weekend was one of those times. As you may or may not know my husband Bill and I are resident managers at our church campgrounds Park of the Pines. This week the camp was rented by our local art co-operative the Boyne Art Collective for "Paint Camp". Four days of painting demonstrations and sharing of artistic technique and creative ideas. I was inspired.

What is cool is to walk around and see everyone's different style and process.

Here is what I did:

A cool part of the weekend was how much the artists fell in love with Park of the Pines. It was cool to hear them talk about how peaceful it was at the Park and how much calmer they felt after just a few days on the grounds. I love hearing this! This is what we hope the Park is known as "A Place of Peace".
