Uncle Bob...

Bill and I were guests at a wedding in Chicago this past weekend. Our daughters friend from college was getting married and our daughter was standing up in the wedding. We wouldn't have missed it for the world. We were not the official photographers. The photographers were doing a bang up job but Bill and I just can't help ourselves we brought a camera to the ceremony.

Now, in the world of professional wedding photographers this is frowned upon. It is so hard for the take great pictures of a wedding when the guests are jumping in front of you with their camera's, cell phones, and ipads. When wedding photographers chat with each other they refer to these people as "Uncle Bob's".

Ugg we were Uncle Bob! Although we were very careful to not get in front of the photographer. We captured a few shots from our seats. Then we put the camera away and simply enjoyed the reception.
